Jeanette Lopez

Jeanette Elma Ratcliff Lopez, 77, of Port Neches, died Monday, March 19, 2018. She was born on September 18, 1940, in Mauriceville, to Alice Elma Thomas Ratcliff and Shannon Carl Ratcliff.

Jeanette loved taking care of her babies. She also loved NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhart, Jr. and enjoyed listening to Scotty McCreery.

Survivors include her son, Timothy Lopez and his wife, Betty, of Vidor; granddaughter, Krista Musquiz and her husband, Michael, of Pearland; great-grandchildren, Drew and Logan Musquiz, both of Pearland; and brothers, Bobby Ratcliff and his wife, Sherry, of Port Neches and Gary Ratcliff and his wife, Julie, of Hemphill.

A gathering of Mrs. Lopez’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 23, 2018, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
