Paul Joseph Hussey
Paul Joseph Hussey, 88, of Nederland, died Tuesday, July 31, 2018. He was born on April 7, 1930, in Matawan, New Jersey, to Mary L. Shaw Hussey and William J. Hussey.
Paul enjoyed hunting, bowling, and was an avid sports fan. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Paul proudly served in Korea with the United States Army.
Survivors include his sons, Paul T. Hussey and his wife, Paula; Douglas E. Hussey and his wife, Dolores; and William J. Hussey and his wife, Pamela, all of Nederland; daughter, Patricia M. Stack and her husband, Richard, of Sugarland; sister, Mary Lou Goldych of Maryland; sister-in-law, Mae Holmes of Florida; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of sixty-six years, Marianne Hussey; son, Michael Hussey; brothers, Timothy E. Hussey and Jay Hussey; sister, Helen Farrell.
Memorial Contributions for Mr. Hussey may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 815 Market St. Galveston, TX 77550.
A private committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
