Tilford Young

Tilford Lee Young, 71, of Beaumont, died on December 26, 2019. He was born to Helen Bundick Young and William “Bill” Young, on March 30, 1948, in Beaumont. Tilford graduated from Hamshire-Fannett in 1966 and always enjoyed fishing, frogging, and rabbit hunting.

He is survived by his father, William “Bill” Young, of Silsbee; daughter, Brandy Dunnam and her husband, Bryan; and sons, Justin Young and Russell Young and his wife, Lydia, all of Beaumont; brothers, Bruce W. Young and his wife, Faye and James W. Young and his wife, Jaime, all of Warren; James VanDevender and his wife, Vannetta; David “Bubba” VanDevender and his wife, Mindy; John “Chet” VanDevender and his wife, Cindy; and Michael Van Devender and his wife, Stacey; sisters, Loretta Green and Tammy Hamm and her husband, Tony, of Vidor; sister-in-law, DeeAnn Young; grandchildren, Lena Fueller; Hailey Wanoreck; Tristen Dunnam; Chad Allan Lawson; Deacon Dwayne Young; Aliya Cheyanne Young; Aiden Lee Young; Bentley Alan Reynolds; Charlotte Paige Young; Grace LeeAnn Young; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Bundick Young; brother, Charles Young; and brother-in-law, John R. Green.

A gathering of Mr. Young’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with his funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m., December 30, 2019, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont, His interment will follow at Landrum Cemetery, Fannett.
