Jamie and I want to send our heartfelt condolences to Lounette and Buck and Diana and all the family. I have wonderful memories growing up with Andy and Marilyn and uncle Bobby and aunt Annie ...... from sock hops in the Thornton kitchen where Andy tried to teach me to dance and to every weekend gatherings at the Bolivar beach house where Andy tried to teach me to water ski.. I wasn’t a good student. In our younger years , Andy was like a big brother and always sweet to me. Later in life, he was a big help to my parents along with Lounette and there for them even after they passed. He was a dear person , always caring and polite in every circumstance . I’m grateful to have known him even though not able to see him in recent years . Love and prayers to all the family from the Bassett’s .

Lounette--from the first time I met you and Andy almost 10 years ago, Andy always treated me like I was part of his family too--his kindness and advice were always welcomed and his friendship was so warm and welcoming. I can remember bringing the boys, Gilbert and Peyton, to ride four wheelers and rangers at the ranch in Winnie--he never wanted us to leave always saying--"Boys we have many more acres to plow before the day is done!" He was also so special to my late Father-in -law Mike --these two were like kindred spirits sharing similar medical conditions and having to fight for so long. I have lived long enough to know that God brings people into our lives for a reason--Andy in my life was for strength, courage and Love--his friendship and kind words will never leave me just like his love for you and his children will never be gone--in God's peace Lounette and thank you for sharing Andy with me over the last 10 years--I am a better person having him in my life,. Love, Mitch
