Mary Marceaux

Mary Luta Marceaux, 86, of Winnie, died Tuesday, March 13, 2018. She was born September 25, 1931, in Kaplan, Louisiana, to Inez Vincent Boudoin and Alexis Boudoin.

Mary grew up in Meaux, Louisiana, until moving to Winnie for the past sixty-five years. She married her loving husband, Ozare Marceaux on January 9, 1945. They recently celebrated seventy-three years together.

Mrs. Marceaux loved her flowers, plants and gardening. Along with all her many cats. She loved to travel and collect things from places they traveled to. Her husband, kids and grandkids were her life.

Survivors include husband, Ozare Marceaux, Jr., of Winnie; sons, Toby Marceaux and his wife, Teresa, of Winnie; Mark Marceaux, of Hamshire; daughters, Ramona Albright and her husband, Randall, of Tennessee; Nina Marceaux, of Hamshire; brother, Donald Boudoin, Sr., of Winnie; sister, Della Whitmire and her husband, David, of Livingston; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren; many other family members and friends.

Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Milton Vincent and Izec Vincent; sisters, Gerdi Faulk; Laura Mae Faulk and Olamp Trahan; granddaughter, Victoria Hansen; Great-granddaughter, Emma Asher.

A gathering of Mrs. Marceaux’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 18, 2018, with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m., at Broussard’s Chapel, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at Our Lady of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Kaplan, Louisiana, with interment to follow at Kaplan Catholic Cemetery, Kaplan, Louisiana. Services are under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.
