Thomas Kattawar

April 20, 1946 - May 17, 2018

Thomas “Tommy” Kattawar, 72, of Beaumont, died Thursday, May 17, 2018, at Baylor St. Luke’s Hospital, Houston. He was born on April 20, 1946, to Roma Ducrow Kattawar and Woodrow Wilson Kattawar.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Kattawar of Beaumont; daughters, Shelli LeBlanc and her husband, Paul, and their children, Alexis LeBlanc and Zackary LeBlanc; Sara Lavergne and her husband, Eric; and Sumer Inman and her husband, Kenny, and their children, Ian Inman and Austin Inman, all of The Woodlands, Texas; sister, Slena Graves; and nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A gathering of Thomas’ family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m., with a Trisagion at 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 21, 2018, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at St. Michael Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church, 680 North 15th Street, Beaumont. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 10900-B Stonelake Boulevard, Austin, Texas 78759.
