Angelo Gallio

October 29, 1955 - May 23, 2018

Angelo Gerard Gallio, 62, of Kountze, Texas, beloved grandfather, father, uncle and brother and friend. He was called home suddenly by his Lord and Savior on May 23, 2018. Angelo was born October 29, 1955 in Beaumont, Texas to Angelo and Josephine Gallio. He grew up in Beaumont, Texas.

Angelo was a self-taught expert in the security alarm industry for 40 plus years, he is considered to be an irreplaceable asset because of his knowledge and expertise. He was known by many and never met a stranger. He would give the shirt off his back and help anyone he could. He enjoyed Coast to Coast talk radio and conversations about conspiracy theories. He loved a good meal and glass of wine with friends and family. Mario, is his dog, that he loved like a son and he would take just about everywhere with him. He was always a phone call away and would help or talk anyone through a problem or guide them to a solution. He had a host of friends and customers that he took care of on a business and personal level and was well respected in the community. He took pride being a part of a big Italian family and his heritage and enjoyed the tradition of going to the Houston Italian Festival every year. He was a family man, and delighted in playing with his grandchildren. He was such a blessing to so many people. He was one of a kind and irreplaceable. The world was a better place with Angelo in it but hopefully with all the lives he touched it will be even better because he lived.

I am saddened to learn of Angelo's passing. He was my go-to-guy when I worked for a non-profit in downtown Beaumont. He always had a smile. He quite often had conspiracy-theory story to share. He was always upbeat and had a smile. He will be missed. I think God and the angels are celebrating his arrival.

I just saw Angelo a few months ago. He took care of Reed Service Company for many years. Always giving a kiss on the cheek and sharing so many stories. Such a great guy. Sending thoughts to his friends and family.
