Billy Ray Mills

Billy Ray Mills, 79, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, March 1, 2017. He was born on May 2, 1937, to Ray Ford Robinson Mills and Dean Mills, in Crockett. Billy was a retired from the Beaumont Fire Department after working for twenty-five years. He was very gregarious and loved life and traveling.

Survivors include his wife, Bertha Mills; sons, Michael “Mickey” Mills and his wife, Marilynne of Beaumont and Bryan Mills and his wife, Sloane, of Hamshire; sister, Mary Brown; brother, George Parker and his wife, Judy, of Arizona; grandchildren, Hillary Mills-Bricker and her husband, David; Zachary Mills and his wife, Katherine; Samantha Mills; and Jared Mills; and great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Kale, Draven, and Isabella.

A gathering of Mr. Mills’ family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m. with his funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
