Carole Louise Rubio

Carole Rubio, 74, of Winnie, died Thursday, May 4, 2017. She was born on September 30, 1942, in Greenville, Pennsylvania, to Gertrude Peterson Reash and Wayne Emerson Reash.

Survivors include her daughter, Christine Read and her husband, Mark, of Winnie; son, Moises Rubio, Jr. and his wife, Alisha, of Fannett; mother, Gertrude Reash, of Charlotte, North Carolina; grandchildren, Courtney Scully and her husband, Joshua, of Pearland; Brooke McDonald and her husband, Tyler, of Mont Belvieu; Sammy Simon, Lane Simon, and Chase Simon, all of Winnie; Stevie Simon and his wife, Brandy, of Iowa, Louisiana; Jada Mahon and her husband, Colton, of Nederland; Reece Rubio, of Fannett; Brandi Sepulvado, of Orange; Karrie Folks, of Starks, Louisiana; and Sarah Folks, of Groves; thirteen great-grandchildren; and brother, Gary Reash, of Charlotte, North Carolina. 

She was preceded in death by husband, Moises Rubio, Sr.; and father, Wayne Reash. 

A private family committal for Mrs. Rubio will be through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie.
