Carolyn Ann Few

April 23, 1941 - March 15, 2021

Carolyn Ann Few was born April 23, 1941. She departed for her heavenly home on March 15, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bobbie Earl Few on January 13, 2020. Also, preceded in death by her parents Henry and Wanda Jones of Burkeville,TX and her children’s father, Jim Cooper of Indiana.

She is survived by her son, Charlie Cooper and wife, Tamia, of Beaumont, TX; her son, Mike Cooper of Indiana; her sister, Lee Meriwether and husband, Tommy, of Lufkin, TX; her grandchildren, Casey Cooper of Houston, Brittany Ports of Virginia, and Caleb Cooper of Pearland, TX. Also, stepson, BJ Few and, Aletha, his wife and daughter, Crystal Slattery and husband, Jerry; great-grandchildren, Bennett and Jillian Ports, and Lincoln and Graham Cooper; and numerous nieces and nephews along with a host of extended family and special close friends.

Carolyn will be remembered for her love for flower and vegetable gardening each Spring, her love for cooking and entertaining and serving in their church in later years. She had many hobbies but what she loved most were her grandchildren.

Carolyn and Bob enjoyed several years of travel with their beloved dogs. They saw many beautiful sights in their lovely motor home. They lived in Teague, TX, Branson MO, and settled near family in Mineola, TX.

Carolyn accepted Jesus as her personal savior into her heart in later years and found her journey to the gardens of heaven.

A good way to honor Carolyn, is to think of her when you visit or plant a Spring garden.

She will be missed and forever loved by those who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, 205 County Road 2376 Golden, Texas, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

Rest in Peace my friend. Save me a place on your bowling team. I will forever remember our times together bowling, playing cards, and our boys playing together and getting acquainted when we first moved to Texas. So many memories you and I made. You fly with the angels now and we will be together some day.
