David Manuel

David Manuel, 77, of Fannett, died Monday, June 5, 2017. He was born on March 1, 1940, in Mamou, Louisiana, to Elladee Thibodeaux and Clifford Manuel, and had been a longtime resident of Fannett. David owned and operated Manuel’s Clearing and Hauling.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Sandra Lynn; of Fannett; sons, Johnny Manuel, Randy Manuel, Mike Manuel, and Darin Manuel, all of Beaumont; grandchildren, Lee Ann Manuel and Coby Manuel; and stepchildren, Lisa Bertram and her husband, Randy, of Monticello, Kentucky; Steven Burkhart and his wife, Teri, of Virginia; and Wanda Thompson and her husband, Tim, of Florida.

A gathering of Mr. Manuel’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., with his funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 8, 2017, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A private family committal will be at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
