David Wayne Leger

David Wayne Leger, 78, of Anahuac, died Monday, December 16, 2019. He was born on December 3, 1941, to Lena and Clarence Leger, in Winnie.

Survivors include his son, Joseph Lee Leger of Winnie; daughter, Deedie Garcia and her husband, Eric, of Davis, California; son, Jason Leger and his wife, Tracey, of Anahuac; daughters, Patsy Edwards and her husband, Tommy, of Anahuac and Terri Hill and her husband, Bo, of Mont Belvieu; sons, Cecil Mosley of Shiro and Michael Mosley of The Philippines; daughters-in-law, Rhonda Mosley of Bedias and Susan Mosley of Iola; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ann Leger; parents, Clarence and Lena Leger; brother, Robert Leger; grandsons, Shon David Mosley and Blake Leger; and sons, Jimmy Mosley and David Mosley.

A gathering of Mr. Leger’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with his funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 21, 2019, at New Wine Christian Church, 5410 FM 1942, Baytown. His interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
