Dawn Nichole Long, 39, of Silsbee, died Friday, June 19, 2020.  She was born on October 7, 1980, in Odessa, to Janice King Gore Strawther and Eddie Gore.

Survivors include her husband, Lonny Long; children, Dawson Long, Rayden Long, and Rayleigh Long, all of Silsbee; mother, Janice Strawther and her husband, Michael, of Spurger; father, Eddie Gore and his wife, Kari, of Silsbee; and sisters, Amy Ackley and her husband, Willie, of Silsbee; Christina Stacy of Jacksonville, North Carolina; and Misty Risinger and her husband, Johnny, of Fred.

A gathering of Dawn’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 26, 2020, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  Her committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium.

Amy and Misty, My heart goes out to yall. Dawn was a very good friend and so are you two. I will miss her. There are really no words to say how I feel right now but just heart broken.
