Elaine Rials

Elaine Rials, 92, of Kountze, died Monday, December 11, 2017, at Pine Arbor Nursing Home, Silsbee. She was born on January 31, 1925, to Bertha Fibekorn Kundo and William Kundo, in Cascade, Wisconsin, and served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Navy.

Survivors include her son, Jerry Rials of Conroe; daughter, Judi Bailey of Silsbee; daughter-in-law, Carla Rials of Lumberton; grandchildren, Chris Bean, Brandon Rials, Brian Bean, Meghan Rials, Ashley Causey, and Justin Rials; three great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred Rials; and son, Allen Rials.

A gathering of Mrs. Rials’ family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m. with her funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 14, 2017, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 4330 Crow Road, Beaumont. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
