Elizabeth Van Dyke
Elizabeth “Betty” Lee Van Dyke, 88, of Kountze, died Monday, June 10, 2019, at Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born on December 15, 1930, to Sarah Lee Manning and Clarence Manning, in Beaumont.
Survivors include her sons, James “Jim” Van Dyke and his wife, Doreen; and Richard Van Dyke; daughter, Sarah Callaway and her husband, Carl; grandchildren, Shaun Van Dyke and his wife, Melanie; Elyse Farrow and her husband, Mark; Charles Van Dyke, Jr., Brandon Callaway; Jon Van Dyke; Kyle Van Dyke; and six great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Martin Peter Van Dyke; parents; step-mother, Delta “Chick” Manning; son, Charles Van Dyke; and granddaughter, Angela Callaway.
A gathering of Mrs. Van Dyke’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a rosary recited at 5:30 p.m., Friday, June 14, 2019, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 15, 2019, at Infant Jesus Catholic Church, 243 South LHS Drive, Lumberton, Texas. Her interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
