Gail Marie Wall

October 10, 1958 - August 1, 2020

Gail Marie Wall, 61, of Beaumont, died Saturday, August 1, 2020, at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont. She was born on October 10, 1958, in Port Arthur, to Maydell and Lloyd Paul Landry. Gail was the third born child of Maydell and Lloyd. She graduated from the class of 1977 at Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur, Texas. Gail worked for Southern Avionics in Beaumont for thirty years. She was a devoted wife. She enjoyed shopping; Christmas; Christmas music; slot machines; and lottery tickets. She loved the holidays, decorating for Christmas, and spending as much time as she could with family.

Gail was a precious and sweet person. She was very soft spoken and gentle and always saw the best in everyone and everything.  Although she struggled with her own personal battles, she would help anyone in need in any way she could.  Not only was she my sister, she was my neighbor and one of my best friends. Me, my two brothers, Ronald and Eddie, and her family and friends will miss her terribly. Although she didn’t have children of her own, she loved her nieces and nephews and their kids like they were her own.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the nurses and staff at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont.

Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” Wall, of Illinois; sister, Susan Dillon, of Beaumont; brothers, Ronald Landry and his wife, Gail, of Port Arthur and Eddie Landry, of Nederland; and nieces and nephews, Stephanie Shearin and her children, Caden; Chase; Camryn; and Cooper; Derek Landry and his wife Melinda and their children, Brady and Payton; Devin Landry and his wife, Ann Marie; and Shaina Dillon and her kids, Sophi and Izabella.

She is preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Patrick Dillon, Jr.

A gathering of Mrs. Wall’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at Broussard’s, Nederland, with her interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Nederland.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Liver Foundation, 39 Broadway, Suite 2700, New York City, New York 10006.
