Harriet Helene Garth

Harriet Helene Garth, age 68, a resident of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on May 12, 2018. Harriet was born in Beaumont, Texas on October 25, 1949 to parents Tyrrell Garth, Jr. and Mary Jane Bruton Garth. She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her brothers, Tyrrell L. (“Terry”) Garth and wife, Lee Ann Garth and David B. Garth and wife, Canice Garth, and her nieces and nephews, Jessica Garth, Tyrrell T. Garth and Kitridge B. Garth and by six great nieces and nephews, all of whom she adored. Harriet spent much of her life travelling to and photographing many beautiful and exotic parts of the world, and she enjoyed welcoming family and friends to her homes in Colorado, Montana and Hawaii, before returning to Beaumont to provide loving care and support to her mother. Harriet will be lovingly remembered as a gentle, cheerful and compassionate person.

A private family gathering is being planned at the Tyrrell Mausoleum at a future date.
