Jesse Ray Wittman
Jesse Ray Wittman, 90, of Hamshire, died June 9, 2020. He was born on September 3, 1929, in Beaumont, to Emmaline Phelps Wittman and Norman Stuart Wittman. Jesse attended Texas A&M, and he was a United States Army Korean War veteran. After the war he became a farmer and rancher.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-one years, Tony Wittman, of Hamshire; daughter, Tami Wittman Smith and her husband, Scott, of Hamshire; granddaughter, Montana Smith, of Huntsville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth Craver and his wife, Vickie and Allen Screen and his wife, Judy, both of Port Neches; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Rebecca Wittman; sisters, Faye Sapp, Dorothy Pitcock, and Delores Wittman; and brother, Harold Wittman.
A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Matt; Trameka; Caroline; and Ava at Best Hopsice.

So sorry to hear of Mr. Wittman's passing. He was such a good friend to my dad and mom. He and my dad are probably on a fishing trip in heaven. My prayers are with y'alls family in this difficult time. May the Lord grant you peace and comfort.

Mrs. Wittman, I was truly saddened to hear of Jesse's passing. I think you know how much I loved your visits at both clinics. You are both such fine people and although it is difficult to pass through this temporary separation, I hope and pray that your suffering will be assuaged by our Heavenly Father.
