Jessie Lee Collins

Jessie Lee Collins, 90, of Village Mills, died Sunday, November 19, 2017. She was born on March 23, 1927, in Chester, to Mattie Francis Vinson and John Holland Wilson.

Survivors include her children, Geraldine Bayless and her husband, Leon, of Huntington; Linda Taylor and her husband, William, of Mont Belvieu; John Edward Collins and Brenda Flowers and her husband, Kenneth R., both of Warren; Charlene Carrell, of Silsbee; Jeannie Hardy and her husband, Karl, of Kountze; Floyd William Collins and his wife, Laura; Ennis Fay Elliott; Roger Dale Collins; and Hollis Wayne Collins, all of Village Mills; thirty-six grandchildren; forty-four great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Jessie is preceded in death by her parents; husband of forty-two years, Hollis William Collins; son, Loyd Wilson Collins; grandson, Joshua Lee Collins; and great-granddaughter, Harley Corn.

A gathering of Mrs. Collins’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Blue Waters Cemetery, Segno.
