JoEllen Toups

JoEllen Toups, 51, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, formerly of Vidor, Texas, passed away Sunday April 8, 2018. She was born on January 6, 1967 to Mary (Jean) Edwards and the late Lindsey Toups.

JoEllen loved her family, her friends, and was an avid photographer. She enjoyed music, especially dancing to Cajun French music.

Survivors include her mother, Mary (Jean) Edwards; brother, David Toups and his wife, Pam, of Tennessee; brother, Lindsey Toups Jr. and his wife, Monique, of Vidor, Texas; brother, Tommy Edwards and his wife, Jessica, of Vidor, Texas; sister, Tracie Patton and her husband, James, of Vidor, TX; her nephews, Brandon Patton and Brian Patton of Vidor, Texas; niece, Stefanie Toups, of Tennessee; and her very special little niece, Shelby, of Vidor, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lindsey J. Toups and her brother, Stephen A. Toups.

A gathering of JoEllen’s family and friends will be at 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Broussards Mortuary, 2000 McFaddin Ave, Beaumont, Texas 77706.
