John Christopher Villafano

March 22, 1968 - August 5, 2020

John Christopher Villafano, 52, of Nederland, died Wednesday, August 5, 2020. He was born on March 22, 1968, in Vidor, to Patricia Garcia Villafano and John Villafano. John was a man of many skills that made him very handy around the house. He was very loving and dedicated to his family and always generous of his time with others.

Survivors include his wife, Kim Villafano, of Nederland; sons, Seth Allen Villafano and Cole Christopher, both of Nederland; sister, Laraine Harris Burnett and her husband, Ronnie, of Vidor; brothers-in-law, Daniel Dewitt, of Vidor and Craig Guillory and his wife, Fay, of Fannett; sister-in-law, Jenny Dawkins and her husband, Jeff, of Katy; mother-in-law, Myrtle Guillory, of Port Neches; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters; Elinor Villafano and Laura Dewitt; and father-in-law, George Guillory.

A gathering of Mr. Villafano’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral mass will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 211 Hardy Avenue, Nederland. His committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont. An inurnment will be at a later date at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 42040 Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73123.
