Joyce Smith

Joyce Smith, 94, of Kountze, died Tuesday, November 12, 2019. She was born on July 23, 1925, in Nederland, to Beulah Girouard Lee and Thomas Edwin Lee, Sr.

Survivors include her sons, Thomas E. Smith and his wife, Katherine, of Dallas; David L. Smith of Silsbee; and Paul A. Smith and his wife, Kathy, of Kountze; grandchildren, Kenneth S. Smith of Lewisville; Meagan Allen and her husband, Brandon, of Kountze; Matthew Smith of Harrison Charter Township, Michigan; Daniel Smith and his wife, Ellis, of Temple; William Tyler Smith of Kountze; Shari Adams; and Dee Anna Hamilton; great-grandchildren, Andrew Smith of Flower Mound and Aubrey Smith of Temple; and sister, Neva Brown of Leakesville, Mississippi. She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Elmer Smith.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., November 16, 2019, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 470 Monroe, Kountze, with her interment to follow at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze.
