Lester Robin

January 13, 1929 - May 25, 2018

Lester Anthony Robin, 89, of Vidor, died, Friday, May 25, 2018, in Vidor. He was born on January 13, 1929, to Amire Landry and Robert Robin, in Arnaudville, Louisiana. Lester was a Unites States Army veteran, who served during in the Korean War. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Survivors include his daughters, Joanne Lowe-Kain and her husband, David, of Livingston; M. Kathleen Hensley; and Samantha Mishelle Robin, both of Vidor; son, Anthony Lynn Robin, of Vidor; grandson, Donovan Lowe, of Livingston; granddaughter, Elizabeth Lynn Robin, of Dayton; grandsons, Gavyn and Gage; sisters, Mary Lou Gray and her husband, Leo Gray, of Amarillo; and Theresa Henson and her husband, Billy Henson, of Beaumont; and brother, Louis Peter Robin, of Vidor.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Eda Louise Robin; and parents, Robert and Amire Robin.

A gathering of Mr. Robin’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with his Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 31, 2018, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2715 Calder Avenue, Beaumont, with entombment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
