Lois Florence Carreker

Lois Florence Carreker, 81, of Beaumont, died Thursday, March 5, 2020. She was born April 29, 1938, in Crowell, to Myrtle Simmons Naron and James William Naron.

Survivors include her sons, Carl Wilkerson and his wife, Sharon and Mark Carreker and his wife, Betty Linscomb, all of Beaumont; stepdaughter, Janice Wilson, of Burkville, Alabama; grandchildren, Ginny Carreker; Carl Wilkerson, Jr.; Josh Wilkerson; Courtny Conder; Jasmine Wilkerson; James Wilkerson; and Landon Wilson; great-grandchildren, Autumn Johnson; Carl Wilkerson III; Kyrstyn Wilkerson; Bladen Metts; Elijiah Conder; Lillienne Conder; Dakota Wilkerson; Cheyenne Wilkerson; Ryder Wilkerson; and Emmett Wilkerson; and brother, Jimmie Naron and his wife, Jennie, of Quanah.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle and James Naron; husband, Ray Carreker; grandson, Lance Wilson; sisters, Oleta Pierce; Gloria Naron; and Joyce Naron; and brothers, Billie Jean Naron and Shirley Naron.

A gathering of Mrs. Carreker’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
