Marjorie Marie Cook

Marjorie Marie Cook, 96, of Beaumont, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at Lucas House, Beaumont. She was born on November 12, 1920, in Beaumont, to Ruby Thaggard LaBauve and Adolph LaBauve.

Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Carita Cook, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; grandchildren, Amy Martin and her husband, Adam, of Lumberton; and Kyle Betts of Houston; great-grandchildren, Alexis Boettcher of Houston; Michael Lee of Austin; Daniel French and Trevor French of Lumberton; and great-great-granddaughter, Arianna Bonner.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Willis Cook.

A gathering of Mrs. Cook’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2017, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 24, 2017, at Magnolia Cemetery, 2291 Pine Street, Beaumont.
