Mary Jeannett Gibbs

Mary Jeannett Gibbs, 86, of Fannett, died Thursday, October 12, 2017, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. She was born on August 30, 1931, to Nellie Mae Sheffield Sprowl and William Arthur Sprowl, in Port Arthur. Mary was a loving mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her son, William Gibbs and his wife, Shelley, of Fannett; sister, Hortense Spangler of Austin; grandchildren, Alexandra Andress and her husband, Jeff, of Mont Belvieu and Tracie Gibbs of Beaumont; and great-grandchildren, Rylan Andress and Ethan Andress.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Ruby Keene.

A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
