Mary Richard

Mary Francis “Cissy” Richard, 61, of Vidor, died Thursday, August 23, 2018, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. She was a constant resource for everybody by making sure no one was without. She had a heart of gold.

Survivors include her husband, Rodney Richard, of Vidor; children, Kevin Melott and his wife, Rebecca, of Minnesota and Danielle Winn and her husband, Matt, of Woodville; sisters, Patricia Loggins and her husband, Kenneth, of Conroe; Marva Roan, of Beaumont; Mark Douglas and his wife, Kathleen, of Port Neches; and grandchildren, Joshua Robert “Bobby” Collins, Kyle Huckabe, Parker Melott, and Emily Melott.

Cissy is preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Marvin Douglas; brothers, Melvin Douglas, Billy Douglas, and Marvin Douglas, Jr.; nephew, Michael Douglas; and brother-in-law, Norman Roan.

A gathering of Mrs. Richard’s family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m., with her memorial service to follow at 6:00 p.m., Monday, August 27, 2018, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
