Meexee Castelan
Meexee Castelan, 33, of Lumberton, died Sunday, September 17, 2017. She was born on September 9, 1984, to Margarita and Tomas Castelan.
Meexee is survived by her husband, Brandon Godina, of Lumberton; daughter, Gia Godina; son, Slade Godina; brothers, Jorge Castelan and Jim Castelan,of Beaumont; and sisters, Yolanda Rodriguez, of Katy; Noemi Castelan, Janet Castelan, and Eileen Castelan, all of Beaumont.
Meexee graduated from West Brook High School, and the Southeast Texas Career Institute. She was a loving and caring mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Meexee was beautiful inside and out and she will be missed by all who knew her.
A gathering of Ms. Castelan’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 22, 2017, with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m., at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 23., 2017, at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 767 Avenue A, Beaumont, with her interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.

Meexee was a great mother and wife! I met Meexee last year as I taught her beautiful daughter Gia. She always dressed Gia like a little model and would come in carrying Slade on her hip. She loved herb kids and Brandon so much! She was a very giving person. She was always sending me gifts from Gia. That was her way always giving. She will be greatly missed! Prayers are with the family during these difficult times!
