Ronald Joseph “Pop” Hebert, 82, of Nederland, died Tuesday, September 11, 2018. He was born on January 25, 1936, in Port Arthur, to Alta Marie Thibodeaux Hebert and Rene Hebert.

Survivors include his wife, Sheryl Hebert of Nederland; children, Joel Wayne Hebert; Brian Kent Hebert and his wife, Toni, all of Nederland; Wendy Kim Jagneaux and her husband, Jason, of Beaumont; Ronald Timothy Hebert of Nederland; Shelley Marie Wenzel and her husband, Frederic; and Kurk Maury Hebert and his wife, Karen, all of Katy; grandchildren, Jamie Marie Stewart Hernandez and husband, Helio; Lauren Michael Aragon and her husband, Chris; Nicholas James Wenzel; Joshua Dale Hebert; Austin J. Hebert; Joey Hebert; Kingston J. Hebert; and Anamarie Joy Hebert; great-grandchildren, Paris Alexandra Stewart, Journey Elena Hernandez, David Zachary Hernandez, Caleb Wenzel, and Alexandra Rae Wenzel; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Youell Hebert and his former wife, Mary; sisters, Grace Bernard and her husband, Isom and Dorothy Daigle and her husband, Johnny; twin daughters, Shelley Ann Hebert and Sheryl Marie Hebert; and grandchildren, Robert Devin Wenzel and Alexandre Joseph Wenzel.

A gathering of Mr. Hebert’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, September 13, 2018, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 14, 2018, at Broussard’s, Nederland, with his interment following at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
