Steve DuBose

March 17, 1943 - April 8, 2018

Steve DuBose, 75, of Hamshire, Texas, died Sunday, April 8, 2018, at Oyster Creek Manor, Missouri City. He was born on March 17, 1943, to Dollie Verlene Simmons Buck and William “Leroy” DuBose, Sr., in Beaumont, and was a United States Army veteran having served in Vietnam.

Survivors include his son, Justin DuBose and his wife, Bridget; daughter, Kindal Peltier and her husband, B.J.; and grandchildren, Riley DuBose, Reagan DuBose, Kobe Ammann, London DuBose, Morgan Peltier, Pratt Peltier, Blake Peltier, and Maggie Peltier.

He is preceded in death by his parents and wife of forty-four years, Linda Bosse DuBose.

A gathering of Mr. DuBose’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 13, 2018, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m., Friday, at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation, 200 Southeast 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, Florida 33131.

Steve was such a pleasure to work with. Always a smile and eager to please his customers and employer. He was always working a new hobby. I seem to remember gocarts, home building, and pools. He will be missed and I was blessed to know him. God speed Steve.
