Ted Nguyen

Ted Tu Thanh Nguyen, 51, of Beaumont, died Saturday, June 22, 2019, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born on June 25, 1967, to Phuoc Thi Tran and Toan Nguyen.

Survivors include his wife, Shatosa Citizen; children, Jaylon Peter Nguyen and Nhia Thi Nguyen; stepchildren, Travien Citizen, Jamie Citizen, and Austin Citizen; and siblings, Duc Nguyen, Trang Nguyen, Kate Nguyen, Victoria Nguyen, Ha Nguyen, Tan Nguyen, and Tam Nguyen-Tan.

A gathering of Mr. Nguyen’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with Prayers at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, June 23, 2019, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive. An additional gathering will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with Prayers at 6:00 p.m., Monday, June 24, 2019, at Broussard’s. Prayers will be held at 5:30 p.m., with a Mass celebrated at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1115 Orange Street, Beaumont. A gathering will begin at 7:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at Broussard’s.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1115 Orange Street, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
