Willie Bee Gore, 94, of Silsbee, died Monday, December 11, 2017. She was born on November 7, 1923, in Silsbee, to Arzalia “Zadie” Strahan Baker and Bronson Cooper Baker. Willie Bee loved to cook and was a faithful member of Caney Head Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Elaine Mallette; son, Jerry Lynn and his wife, Tracey Lyn; grandchildren, Vance Cawley and his wife, Cheryl; Jill Barker and her husband, John; Renee Williams and her husband, David; Kevin Gore and his wife, Kandy; Clint Gore and his wife, Kathy; great-grandchildren, Thomas Cawley and his wife, Brittany; Quinton Cawley and his wife, Bryce; GiGi Campbell and her husband, Matthew; Jed Barker; Brooke Williams; Colt Williams; Faith Gore; Chance Gore; Samantha Hightower; Brody Hightower; Tristan Gore; Ashton Gore; Autumn Cawley; and Ryder Cawley; three great-great-grandchildren and one on the way; sisters, Betty Ward and Gladys Tanton; sister-in-law, Raye Baker; and daughter-in-law, Sarah Gore. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elsie Gilbert Gore; son, Gilbert Earl Gore; grandson, Caleb Cawley; brothers, Jack Baker, Frank Baker, and Junior Baker; and sisters, Mattie Sanford and Sally Cowart.

A gathering of Mrs. Gore’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 14, 2017, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 15, 2017, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Cunningham Cemetery, Silsbee.
