Anthony Rose, Sr.

Anthony Rose, Sr., 87, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at home surrounded by his family. He was born on October 29, 1936, to Elizabeth St. Georgio Rose and Francisco Rose, in Beaumont, and was at veteran of the United States Army Air Corps.

Survivors include his children, Charles Ace Rose, Sr. and his wife, Samantha Ann, of Beaumont; Anthony Rose, Jr. and his wife, Ann Marie, of New Windsor, Maryland; and D.J. Rose of Houston; grandchildren, Charles “C.J.” Rose, Jr., Tyler Anthony Rose, Matthew Cody Rose, Emma Lei Mitchell, Michael Jason Mitchell, Christina Lynn Ferriola, Lindsey Kathleen Grant, and Zoey Davis; and great-grandchildren, Dentiny Angelina Rose, Charlie Putnam, Christian Anthony Rose, Peyton Reese Rose, Presley Ryder Rose, Amara Schonauer, Koen Schonauer, Neil Grant, Damon Cruz, James Ferriola, and Ethan Ferriola.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Tiny Rose and granddaughter, Amber Nécole Rose.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.

A gathering of Mr. Rose’s family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
