Barbara Hebert

Barbara Louise Hebert, 88, of Groves, died Tuesday, September 21, 2021. She was born October 18, 1932, in Groves, to Della Marie Dugas Budwine and Oren Budwine.

Barbara enjoyed playing cards with her family and friend and she loved Cajun music and dancing. She was a faithful volunteer at Missions Attic, Groves and she found great joy in helping others. Above all else, Barbara adored her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Stacie Jinks, of Nederland; Kyle Hebert, of Port Arthur; and Kevin Hebert, of Groves; grandchildren, Reece Hebert; Chance Jinks; Basia Hebert; and Trevor Cooper and wife, Whitney; and great-grandchildren, Lexa and Lathan and Sterling and Aniston.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Erwin Mitchell Hebert; and siblings, Olden Budwine; Isa Mae Comeaux; and Jessie Mae Broussard.

A gathering of Mrs. Hebert’s family and friend will be 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m., at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, 101 Block Street, Port Neches.
