Bronson Baker

Bronson “Sonny” Presley Baker, 65, of Village Mills, died Thursday, May 2, 2019. He was born on February 25, 1954, in Silsbee, to Mandy Lewis Baker and Frank Baker.

Bronson worked in several plants and offshore as a fabricator. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed being outdoors and Bronson was also an avid Cowboys fan.

Survivors include his children, Amanda Tousha and her husband, Adam; Keri Heard; Drew Baker; and Charles Baker and his wife, Victoria; grandchildren, Jourdan Tousha, Shelby Tousha, Tristan Tousha, Mya Vigeon, Alyssa Heard, and Madelyn Lee; mother, Mandy Baker; brothers, Stout Baker and Larry Baker; sister, Stacy Peavy; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father; mother of his children, Martha Baker; and wife, Jeanette Winn Baker.

A gathering of Bronson’s family and friends will be 5;00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 3, 2019, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His funeral service will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Cunningham Cemetery, Silsbee.
