    Mike Babcock says:

I am so honored to have known Brown Chapman and work alongside him at TWC these last several years. I knew him to be quiet natured and a dedicated VR Counselor, someone I looked up to for his expertise and respected him for the added difficulty of being transitional. Those early days had us searching for better technologies to make his job easier. He was a tall fella with a big heart, sometimes things don’t seem fair.
His absence from us is felt, things will never quite be the same. My heartfelt prayers and support go out to Marie and their family. May the Lord comfort your hearts as you pass through this season, may He help you focus on the joys you shared together as it helps overcome the pain of loss.
Brown Chapman may no longer be with us, but he lives on in each of you. I am sad he is gone and I will no longer be able to chat with him in this life, but I am so very grateful for the times I did have. Thank you Lord for Brown Chapman, I am a better man having known him. Help us all to engage each day, while it is called Today.

Brown was an expert at his job no other way to describe it. I had the pleasure of working with him over a few years I was sent to Beaumont to help with a caseload there. There was never a situation he did not have a solution to. Harold Whitfield says:

    Marie and Family,
I only knew Brown in a professional capacity after I transferred to his old caseload in 2006. However, I appreciated his can-do attitude toward serving his customers. From my perspective, he leaves behind a legacy that will forever be etched in my mind, and that is, “I will serve my customers until my last dying breath.” He didn’t have to say it, but he showed it. This is a powerful testament of his character and commitment to serving individuals with disabilities. He’s gone too soon. I wish there was more time. I’m sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
