Carol Sue Aucoin
Carol Sue Aucoin, 69, of Nederland, died September 2, 2023. She was born September 14, 1953, in Wharton, to Lloyd L. Allen and Sue Ella Fitzgerald.
She worked at 25 Optical for many years and enjoyed every day there. Most of all she loved spending time with family. Her favorite things to do on Saturday’s was to enjoy brunch and watching her granddaughter Audrey’s soccer games. You could also always find her spending time with her beloved dog, Cash. A couple of her many past times included scrolling through Facebook and savoring a cold Milwaukee’s Best.
Survivors include her mother; daughters, Lindsey Granger, Jamie Scott and her husband, James, all of Beaumont; grandchildren, Audrey and Olivia; sister, Patti Haynes and her husband, David, of Nederland; brother, David Allen of Sam Rayburn; fur baby, Cash; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father.
A gathering of Ms. Aucoin’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 8, 2023, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
