Charles Edward Meaux

September 11, 1947 - January 22, 2024

Charles Edward Meaux, 76, of Lumberton, died Monday, January 22, 2024.  He was born on September 11, 1947, in Beaumont, to Amy Cormier Meaux and Clarence Meaux.  Mr. Meaux proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era.

Survivors include his children, Charles, Jr., Sherry, Kenneth, Patrick, and Serena; numerous grandchildren; siblings, Judith Ivey and her husband, Robert, of Lumberton; Yvonne Rodgers, of Vidor; Shirley Morris of Fort Worth; Joni Hudson and her husband, Les, of Silsbee; Michael Meaux of Lumberton; and Sheila Kay of Baytown; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Connie Lundmark; and brother, Clayton Meaux.

Mr. Meaux’s gathering of family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with his funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 26, 2024, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  His interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
