Christopher Scott Venable
Christopher Scott Venable, 34, of Nederland, died Saturday, June 17, 2023. He was born February 3, 1989, in Beaumont, to Tracye Lyne Holliday and Kirk Aluide Venable.
Chris graduated from Vidor High School in 2008. He loved attending wrestling matches, playing video games, and his career as a security guard.
Survivors include his father, Kirk Venable; mother, Tracye Holliday and husband, Randy; uncles, Wes Powell and Chuck Powell and wife, Crystal; and aunts, Starla Zelgowski and Melinda Mantellini.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ruben and Margie Venable; maternal grandparents, Martha Dell Powell and Charles Louis Powell, Sr.; and uncles, Ruben Venable, Ricky Venable, James Venable, and Scott Powell.
A gathering of Mr. Venable’s family and friends will begin at 3:00 p.m., with his memorial service at 4:00 p.m., Monday, June 26, 2023, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.

Chris was such a sweet young man we talked for hours Herrin my son Randle we’re best friends I will miss him. I will miss our conversations. I love you Chris I am sorry. You will be in my heart and prayers
