Delia Martinez Tullos

October 1, 1974 - October 22, 2023

Delia Martinez Tullos, 49, of Lumberton, died Sunday, October 22, 2023, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. She was born on October 1, 1974, to Sulema Luna Martinez and Artemio Zuniga Martinez, in Brownsville.

Delia was a devoted wife and mother. She was very supportive of any activities her girls were involved in like dance, cheer, soccer, volleyball, and other school sports. Delia was passionate about her girls playing soccer and coached them both from an early age. She enjoyed spending time with her family, loving on her nieces and nephews, family meal gatherings, cuddling with her two adopted dogs, and was a loyal Astros fan. Delia faithfully attended church and liked the fellowship with other members. She received her bachelor’s degree from Lamar University in accounting. Delia thoroughly enjoyed working for Risinger and Nelson Orthodontics and the many co-workers she worked with. She was a faithful friend to many.

Survivors include her parents, Sulema and Artemio Martinez of Livingston; husband, Delbert Tullos and daughters, Addison Tullos and Avery Tullos, all of Lumberton; siblings, Dora Shaffer and her husband, Tony, of Millersville, Maryland; Diana Simon and her husband, Larry, of Lake City, Florida; and Rosa Kindle and her husband, Steven and  Artemio Martinez, Jr. and his wife, April, all of Livingston; dogs,  Schotchie and Bella; and numerous extended family, church family, friends, and coworkers throughout the years.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Dolores Martinez.

A gathering of Mrs. Tullos’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 1:00 p.m.,  Friday, October 27, 2023, at Broussard’s. Her cremation arrangements will be  handled through Broussard’s Crematorium.
