Douglas Lee Davis

Douglas Lee Davis, 81, of Beaumont, died Sunday, August 13, 2023, at CHRISTUS Southeast Texas – St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born June 7, 1942, in Humboldt, Kansas, to Doris Martin Davis and Calvin Davis.

Davis is survived by his wife, Ethel Davis, of Beaumont; daughter, Christy Jenkins and her husband, Thomas, of Beaumont; sister, JoAnn Scott of Carlsbad, New Mexico; beloved friend Stacey LeBlanc Green of Beaumont; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other families.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Doris Davis; sister, Carol Smith; and brother, Dick Davis.

Mr. Davis’ cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Southeast Texas, 2050 Spindletop Avenue, Beaumont, Texas 77705.

    I cherish the time I had with Doug growing up. He was a second father to me. I have so many wonderful memories. Playing tennis late into the night is one of my favorites. He will be missed and loved always .
