Eddie P. Landry

Eddie P. Landry, 62, of Port Arthur, died Friday, November 10, 2023, at Bonne Vie, Port Arthur.

Eddie graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1979 and went on to work for Bruce’s Market Basket for thirty-five years. Anyone who knew Eddie knows how much he loved his family and spending time with them.

Growing up Eddie took many trips with his parents across the United States, even accompanying his dad to Europe for a military reunion honoring World War II veterans. He also enjoyed cruising with his older brother, Ronald, and nephew, Devin, visiting Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica the most. Eddie’s favorite holiday was Christmas and he looked forward to hosting his siblings and their families each year, in addition to attending the large Landry Family Christmas Reunion in Vinton, Louisiana. Eddie had many hobbies in his spare time including collecting all things Star Wars, playing video games, and practicing photography.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the nurses and staff at Bonne Vie in Port Arthur.

Eddie is survived by his brother, Ronald Landry and wife, Gail of Port Arthur; sister, Susan Dillon of Beaumont; brother-in-law, Pat Dillon of Beaumont; and nieces and nephews, Shaina Dillon and her children, Sophi and Izabella; Derek Landry and his wife, Melinda, and their children, Brady and Payton; Stephanie Dillon Shearin and her children, Caden, Chase, Cameryn, Cooper, and Ellie; Devin Landry and his wife, AnnMarie.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Gail Marie Wall; and nephew, Patrick Dillon Jr.

A gathering of Mr. Landry’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 1:30 p.m., followed by his funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12^th Street, Nederland. His interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
