Elijah Arnez Pippins

December 16, 2023 - December 16, 2023

Elijah Arnez Pippins was born sleeping on December 16, 2023, to his  parents, Jarvis and Ashley Pippins. He is survived by his siblings, Elliana and Ethan Pippins. He is a son, little brother, grandson, and most importantly a light that will forever shine.

We are reminded of how impactful his brief time on Earth is when we consider all the seemingly unspent love that wells up in the corners of our eyes, the blocks of our throats, and the hollow parts of our chests. For Elijah, all he has ever known is this love-first here and now with God. That love shines through him, uniting souls and inviting others to God’s pure and everlasting love. Without even a cry, he became a fisher of men. We find hope in knowing that Elijah’s legacy will inspire acts of kindness, compassion, intentionality, and love in ways that point people toward Jesus. Even if it’s hard to fathom now, we pray that God will bring healing and joy from this deep sorrow and are confident that He will turn our mourning into dancing just as He did for David in Psalm 30:11.

Elijah will always be part of his earthly family; he simply had to join his Heavenly family first.

Until we meet Elijah again, join us for a gathering beginning at 11:00 a.m., with a celebration of his life to follow at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Broussard’s 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium.
