Francis Keith

September 20, 1928 - February 2, 2018

Francis Alvin Keith, 89, of Fannett, died Friday, February 2, 2018, at Dubuis Hospital, Beaumont. He was born on September 20, 1928, to Bessie Marie Hunt and Otis Alvin Keith, in Woodville. Francis was a decorated United States Marine Corps veteran having served in World War II and the Korean Conflict. He retired from the Texas Highway Department after forty years.

Survivors include his children, Connie Caraway and her husband, Victor, of Winnie; Patricia Greene and her husband, Dennis; James Keith and his wife, Elizabeth, and Ricky Keith, all of Fannett; grandchildren, John Taylor and his wife, Chrysta; Kimberly Taylor and her husband, Matthew Acklin; Stacey Day and her husband, Chris; Cody Colston and his wife, Heather; Elizabeth Hollier and her husband, Jared; Rachel Lisenby and her husband, Lakin; Brittney Davis and her husband, Taylor; and Courtney Newman and her husband, Mark; and sixteen great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Marcella Keith; parents; five sisters; and special uncle, Ector Smith.

A gathering of Mr. Keith’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
