Nick and Kristy, I am so sorry for your tremendous loss. I still dream about Mr. Gary’s gumbo. His bonfires in the backyard still bring a smile and the best memories. Prayers to you all.

I am sorry to hear about Gary. When I lived at the Sigma Nu house, he used to crack me up with his “Alphonse”/Coon-ass routine. “Throw that cow over the fence some hay”. Or, “I shot that alligator wit my “twice-barrel”. And, I will never forget him downing an entire pitcher of beer in about 3 seconds! He could just pour it down his throat without swallowing. Amazing. Though I haven’t seen him since our college days, he was a larger-than-life individual that I never forgot. My condolences to his family.

Condolences to all of Gary’s family…Gary and I were close friends in high school and fraternity brothers in college. We experienced lots of youthful life together and to say we had a few fun times in our late teens and early twenties would definitely be an understatement. Thank you for your friendship Gary…I will always consider it a blessing to have been one of your friends.

Gary was one of my Sigma Nu pledge brothers. Although I have not seen him for years I remember clearly the great times we had in college. I can’t help but smile or outright laugh with tears thinking of Gary (aka Alphonse). I pray your family is comforted by the many warm memories of Gary you all share. He will be missed by many.

Loved this man. What a great man and father. He would always let me in when Kristy wasn’t home so I could go in her room to play Nintendo until she got home. I miss his cheese fries and laugh. I love you Kristy. Keith and Nick and all of the rest of the Ferguson. Y’all are in my prayers.

I just got the news today. My heart is shattered. Gary always had get togethers and growing up my favorite place to go was Gary’s. His gumbo was the first gumbo I ever ate as a kid. I remember asking him if I’d like it cause I was picky and he made me a bowl. The walls of his home were filled with laughter and all of my memories of him will be cherished forever. I’m so glad to have met this wonderful man and my heart goes out to the Fergusons as well as my childhood best friend Kade Coleman. I wish I could hug you all tight.
