Gary Neale Saunders, 75, of Nederland, died Monday, July 31, 2023. He was born February 24, 1948, in Springfield, Missouri, to Nina Downs Saunders and Neale Elliot Saunders.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Saunders; daughter, Tammie Marshall, Angie Glidewell, and Lesa Morgan; sons, Greg Saunders and Glenn Saunders; brothers, Kenny Saunders and Lewie Saunders; and grandchildren, Jaysie Glidewell, Garet Marshall, Grant Marshall, Aiden Glidewell, Gannon Saunders, Ian Glidewell, Gracie Marshall, and Garen Saunders.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Saunders’ cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
Red was a sweet man who always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone. He loved a good joke, a cold beer and fair bet. My heart goes out to the family, my friend Laura, and sweet little Mooch. May God be there to guide you all at this time of loss.
