Jeanie M. Taylor

Jeanie M. Taylor, 84, of Houston, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, with her family by her side.

Jeanie was a hardworking genuine, and sweet soul. She always had a smile and laugh that would fill a room. She enjoyed time at the beach with her family, to travel, she was an independent individual and always did for her and those around her. She retired from Oak Farms after 50+ years of employment, after which she enjoyed time with those closest to her.

She was born to the late Murphy and Edna Boudreaux, September 17, 1939, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

She is survived by her niece, Jamie Tomplait and husband, Paul Tomplait, of Kirbyville.

Her great nephews and niece, Jeremiah LeBlanc, Paul Boudreaux, Jacob Boudreaux, Jace Tomplait, and Jordan Francios.

She was preceded in death by her brother, James E. Boudreaux and her daughter, Cynthia Taylor.

A gathering of Ms. Taylor’s family and friends will begin at 12:30 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12^th Street, Nederland. Her interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
