Jewell Ann Ragsdale
Jewell Ann Ragsdale, 62, of Beaumont, died Friday, August 4, 2023. She was born June 6, 1961, in Lake Charles, to Charlotte Ann Jones Adams and Isaac L. Adams.
Jewell is survived by her husband, Joseph Keith Ragsdale; son, Dustin Ragsdale and his wife, Jenny, of Vidor; daughters, Britt Thomas and her husband, Prince, of Houston and Kirstin Wilson and her husband, Derek, of Houston; son, Brayden Ragsdale of Seattle, Washington; parents, Isaac and Charlotte Adams of Beaumont; brothers, Isaac Adams, Jr., and his wife, Susan, of Fannett; James Adams of Virginia; Peter Adams and his wife, Melanie, of Beaumont; sister, Jacquetta Walker, and her fiancé, Jamie, of Beaumont; grandchildren, Rhett Wilson and Aubrey Wilson.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Michael Adams.
A gathering to pay respects for Mrs. Ragsdale will begin at 5:00p.m., with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 11, 2023, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 201 West Barkley Street, Sour Lake. Following the service, a reception will be held in the community hall of the church. Her cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Ragsdale’s honor may be made to the Sunshine Foundation, 101 Lakeside Park, Southhampton, Pennsylvania 18966 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.

I just learned about Jewell’s passing today. We were neighbors during early 90s untill we moved out of Texas. She was my son’s God Mother.
A beautiful soul.Jewell and I shared many mutual interests. Rest in peace my dearest friend.

I’m so very very sorry. This happened so fast. I have been Jewels hairstylist and friend for over 25 years. Every six weeks for that many years we had a date to do hair and talk about all the things. She watched my kids grow up and I watched hers. Jewell is the biggest personality, full of life, and truly loves her family her whole family. She always talked about her husband Keith, her kids, and grandkids with the biggest heart. I’m truly sorry for all of your loss and I will be praying for you.
So sorry for the loss of your son, thank you for the love and support of Jewell for all these years. She always considered you a friend as well as the best hair stylist.
