John Luther Horton

John Luther Horton, 56, of Vidor, died Friday, July 21, 2023. He was born on November 1, 1966, in Beaumont, to Verna May Sanders Horton and Thomas Hoyt Horton.

Survivors include his son, John Gabriel Horton and his wife, Nona Anthony, of Vidor; grandchildren, Korbyn Horton, Kymlee Horton, and Karsyn Horton; siblings, Melissa Horton and her husband, James, of Hornbeck, Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Stephanie Lewing; and brother, Tommy Horton.

A gathering of Mr. Horton’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with his funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Deweyville United Pentecostal Church, 827 County Road 4156, Deweyville, with his interment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Hornbeck, Louisiana.
