Johnny Paul Casey, 77, of Nederland, died Thursday, February 9, 2017. He was born on February 4, 1940, in Belton, to Naomi Delsie Guentzel and James Harold Casey.

Johnny enjoyed hunting, traveling, and collecting a variety of things. He also enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family. Johnny retired from his plumbing company in Beaumont after thirty-five years, and was a master plumber. He had been a plumber for fifty-seven years.

Survivors include his wife, Juhree Casey of Nederland; daughters, Angela Casey Dillahunty and her husband, Frank, of Kountze and Deborah Ann Casey and her fiancé, Tony DeMary, of Sour Lake; grandchildren, Jennifer Skinner and her husband, Adam, of Humble and Talon Singletary of Beaumont; great-grandchildren, Greyson Skinner and Maverick Skinner; sisters, Laverne Calloway of Lufkin and Margaret Goodwin of Mobile, Alabama; sisters-in-law, Betty Casey of Menard and Beverly Casey of Woodville; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, JoAnne Nolan, Dorothy Aaron, Dessie Green; and brothers, Jesse Casey and Bill Casey.

A gathering of Mr. Casey’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches. ​
